CORNWALLIS CLOTH is Sweet Patootee Arts’ second major production as a collective. Right here’s my cue for an additional round of thanks to our friends and consultants: The creative collective that Sweet Patootee Arts has built since we started the company in 2017 – our approach, work with interns, and our productions together – flows from your chats, consultations, tough questions, and brilliant support!
In the UK and internationally Sweet Patootee Arts’ creative collective aims to build in-depth audience engagement with neglected human stories – by crafting high-quality, captivating, poetic storytelling. Are we succeeding? You know what I think. So please judge for yourself.
Our CORNWALLIS CLOTH Black heritage drama film, along with its supporting exhibition – inspired by our oral testimonies of WW2 in the Caribbean – is currently showing at London’s iconic Old Royal Naval College, until November 2026.
CORNWALLIS CLOTH is an IWM 14-18 NOW Legacy Commission, in partnership with Sweet Patootee Arts
