Contributors’ reflections

Over 6 Wednesday sessions, from 22nd October to 26th November 2025, young people from Black Cultural Archives youth Forum and Peckham Platform, working with a great mix of elders from the local community, have completed important oral history workshops for Sweet Patootee Arts’ TURNING POINT Black heritage project in London.

Inspired by the Black heritage storytelling of our TURNING POINT heritage drama, the 6 workshop sessions were brilliantly led by Black Cultural Archives’ Harlynn Homan (Archives Manager).
