It’s National Volunteers Week, and Sweet Patootee Arts’ brilliant Coordinator Aadya Verma has asked me to pass on this message in celebration of the achievements and enjoyment our volunteers bring to the table – Aadya’s celebration also goes out to all volunteers …
“This National Volunteers Week, Sweet Patootee Arts wants to thank TURNING POINT’s invaluable team of volunteers! Ranging from assisting with sewing – to helping navigate digital research, our volunteers have been an essential part of our programmes across London.
Their enthusiasm, skills and generosity have been beyond helpful, making the programme what it is today. Heritage lives through such effort – those who care, give generously, and understand the importance of keeping history alive. We’re proud and grateful to have them as part of our journey!”
I’m going to be cheeky and add that I can’t let this go without also celebrating the work, approach and dedication of Sweet Patootee Arts’ brilliant Coordinator Aadya Verma.
Our TURNING POINT arts and heritage programme is enabled by support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
