Big shout out to Dementia Support practitioners and stakeholders. Following on from great work with TURNING POINT’s Birmingham partners and community participants last year…

Sweet Patootee Arts are on course to launch a new website – to give free access to pioneering. fun, and proven resources inspired by our arts and Black heritage storytelling.

Pride of place among them result from the brilliance, creativity and passion of our Dementia Working Group – and activities like last week’s heart-meltingly genius “In Their Footsteps”, devised and led by the awesome Jazz Brown, her team, and their heart-stealing members at Nubian Life Resource Centre Ltd (see photo).

TURNING POINT is enabled by support by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Updates coming soon on the programme, our new website’s eta, and our new period drama production (“CORNWALLIS CLOTH”).

Last word is to repeat my thanks to our team, volunteers, partners and friends. And a special shout out to our Board for awesome guidance and support this past month – our most ambitious yet!
